![]() CRAFTING A CACHEPOT STEP ONE Borrow a book of antique prints from a friend and make four laser copies big enough to cover each side of the cachepot. STEP TWO Position the artwork copies and score the paper with something hard (bone folder, knife or fingernail) to make a slight crease where you want to cut to size. STEP THREE Brush Elmer's glue onto one side of the cachepot. Dip your cut-out image into water until it stops wrinkling. STEP FOUR Position the artwork onto the glued surface and smooth it flat with a Soft Rubber Brayer. Clean up excess moisture and glue over the top of the image with a damp kitchen sponge. Repeat Steps 2, 3 and 4 on all four sides of the cachepot! STEP FIVE When it's dry, apply 2 coats of Durwin's Final Finish. |
